Dharma Night Online
Online meditation and Dharma for those who find it difficult to attend our in-person meetings. Suitable for all levels of experience.
Led by the Order Team and visiting Order Members
Our weekly sessions are called "drop-in meditation" evenings to reflect their flexibility, but really they are quite a bit more than this.
You do not have to attend every week as each session stands alone and will be of great benefit to your life and practice. But you may find it helpful to come each week and build upon your knowledge.
The team leading the evenings is Vidyasakhi, Kusalaraja and Danaketu, with support from Mitras and Mitras training for Ordination.
See programme below for details of each weekly session
Drop in meditation evening learning essential meditation skills with Danaketu
Sangharakshita's classic teaching helps us to understand the Buddhist Vision all the way to Enlightenment. Talking in terms of "Mind Reactive, Mind Creative" is the best way to be introduced to Enlightenment. Therefore this course is suitable for complete newcomers as well as those with experience of meditation.
You don't need to attend every week and can drop in at any point. However, why not take on the personal challenge of attending each week and see how you develop, change and create new friends.

No. Our classes are open to everyone and we regularly have people who attend but don't identify as being a Buddhist
These classes are suitable for everyone, whether you have lots of experience or none.
We run on the basis of Dana (generosity) which means we do not charge for the class. However we invite donations and as a guide you might like to give between £5-10 for an evening. You can donate by cash or card. If you cannot afford to donate, we still want to encourage you to come along.
If you are going to come for one of our events, we encourage you to stay for the whole duration.
Yes. Our classes do have a progression to their theme, but each stands alone too.
