New Year, NEW MIND, New You

30 December 2025

New series starts 6th January 2026

New Year resolutions often focus on changing ourselves. Buddhist mindfulness starts somewhere simpler: learning to see clearly. Join us for a 4-week series exploring the Four Foundations of Mindfulness.

Mindfulness is now taught in many places — online, in workplaces, even in schools. While this can be helpful, there’s a real risk that, when taken out of its original context, mindfulness becomes diluted and loses its depth and power. Buddhist meditation is different. It isn’t just about feeling calmer or coping better — though those can be welcome effects.

At its heart, it is a life-changing practice that opens us to a rich and meaningful way of understanding ourselves and the world. The Buddha’s teachings support deep transformation, both inwardly and in how we relate to others. These classes are suitable for beginners and for those with an existing meditation practice. Each session stands alone, so you can come when you’re able — though we recommend attending regularly to get the most from the series.

No need to book. Event is run on a dana (donation) basis - a guide would be £5-£7 per evening. But less if that helps you. More if you are able and willing.
