Events for Mitras

Saturday 18th June 2022 – 10:15 – 15:00 in the Dinham Room at Exeter Community Centre

We will be having a mitra event on Saturday 18th June. We have changed the date (which was originally the 25th) due to clashes with other local Sangha activities.

So if you are a mitra – or soon to become a mitra – make sure you pencil this in to your diary. You can expect a day of practice, discussion and a little bit of ritual.

This is being organised by Danaketu and Alex and will be held at the Exeter Community Centre in the Dinham Room. More details to follow soon!!

Joining the Triratna Buddhist Order

The Triratna Buddhist Order is a spiritual community of people who have pledged themselves to following the Buddhist path to Enlightenment. Order Members have made that commitment – traditionally known as Going for Refuge to the Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha – the central point of their lives. In particular, they have chosen to make the Triratna Buddhist Order the context in which they are trying to live ever more deeply imbued by Wisdom and Compassion.

Tithing for FutureDharma

In 2021 we agreed to give FutureDharma Fund 10% of the Dana (donations) received by Exeter Triratna. This is sometimes referred to as “tithing”.

FutureDharma is the main funding body for the Triratna Buddhist Community and it funds important projects all over the world. You can find out more about their work via futuredharma.org
