Come and join us for this day of practice! All welcome, however there is no instruction in meditation on the day.
It’s a time when we come together to reflect on the Buddha’s life and death, as well as on our own, and remember those we have known who have passed away.
We will spend the morning in silence, listening to an account of the last few weeks of the Buddha’s life, alternating these periods of reading with sitting and walking meditation. Do come and join us for this day of practice.
After the shared lunch there is time for personal reflection and discussion, and the day will end with a puja. If you wish, please bring photos of anyone who has died over recent years who you would like to remember on this day, to put on the shrine.
I hope many of you can make it, and I look forward to seeing you there!
